ABOUT US

Pearsey Enterprises, Inc., started doing business in 1952. The first store was located in Inglewood, Ca, just a few blocks down from the Forum. TV's and stereos were the first of many products to be sold by the Pearsey family. The business grew until, in 1981, Bakersfield was chosen as the site for the first store in Kern County. Over the next decade, the stores in Delano, Arvin, and Taft were added. All of the L.A. area stores were sold around 1990 so the Pearsey family could concentrate on serving Kern County exclusively. In March of 2000, they moved the Arvin store to the town of Lamont to better serve the Arvin/Lamont area!

Emplyees - Our Most Valuable Asset
Gerardo "Jerry" (Gordito) Posadas was
hired in 1990 as a 15-year-old delivery
helper, and now he is driving at the wheel
of our largest store! He has proven that
hard work pays off!! As the father of two,
and husband of a loving wife,he feels
truly blessed. His commitment to serving
the Hispanic culture has allowed him to
excel in every area. Gordito attends a
weekly Bible study and is very faithful!!
Lucy Jimenez is one of our "pride-and joy"s
in our company. She came to work in 1990
as a movie-club attendant and now is
recognized as irreplaceable. She is a fine
mother and wife, and manages one of our
most profitable stores of recent years. She
attends Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic
Church in Delano along with her family. She
takes care of ALL her customers, and they
come back regularly to do business because
of her friendliness and love for her job!!
Teresa Delgadillo is such a valuable
employee because of her dedication to
work and love for her customers. As a
mother of two, she works hard to support
them. She's been the top salesperson in
the company for nearly 15 years, and daily
strives to get better. She attends Valley
Bible Fellowship with her children. We
can't remember a day when she hasn't
been smiling!!
Ray Wooldridge has been employed here
since 1992. Ray grew up in North Carolina
and brings his southern hospitality and
charm to the quiet little city of Taft. He
commits his time to the community in many
ways from coaching Pop Warner football to
being the defensive coordinator of Taft
High School's football team. The Pearseys
value his efforts in the local community and
his work in the store. He also attends
Riverlakes Community Church in
Bakersfield. He is the manager that all
strive to emulate, because he is the best!
Ben Moore is the longest serving employee
we have. He never wastes a minute of time on
his job. He's the glue that keeps the company
running on all cylinders, and is one of the
smartest people we have met. He is the father
of three, and has been married since 1983.
Ben is an active member of Grace Bible
Church of Bakersfield, and serves in several
capacities there. He runs our computer
network, and most of the company
operations.
